The Lab is open to performers from different creative genres and techniques inspired by Physical Theatre as a bold, vibrant and multidimensional approach to contemporary theatre performance.
Intensive practical training, lectures, discussions and the conference programme.
Participants: actors of physical, dramatic, dance and musical theatres,
dancers, choreographers, circus performers, directors.

Theoretical Part: Lectures and Discussions: Performer's Physicality in the methods of Meyerhold, M.Chekhov, Stanislavsky: Biomechanics, Psychological Gesture and Physical Action.
"Actor's Body Training Through 'Mak Yong' Dance Form" - practical workshop with Norzizi Zulkifli - actor, director, dancer, (Malaysia).
"American Noh Theatre: An Innovative Form of Theatre Movement" - practical workshop with Tamiko Washington - actor, voice and movement teacher (USA).
"Theatre Biomechanics" - practical workshop with Sergei Ostrenko - theatre director and teacher (Russia).
"The New Jazz Program at Tshwane University of Technology - South Africa" - presentation with Roland Hansel Moses - musician, composer, researcher and lecturer (South Africa).
"The Problem of Verse-Speaking Training" - presentation with Katarzyna Lech - actor, drama teacher, acting coach (Poland-Ireland).
Registration:
To apply for participation, candidates should send a letter of motivation and CV with photo.
Participation fee - intensive practical training, lectures and the conference:
520 EUR if payment is made before July 22nd.
(590 EUR if payment is made before July 30th).
Participation fee - only the conference:
150EUR if payment is made before July 22nd.
(170 EUR if payment is made before July 30th).
