CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES – Choreografische Kurzfilme im 60 Sekunden Format gesucht!

Im Rahmen des 8. Internationalen CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES Wettbewerbs lädt JOINT ADVENTURES ChoreografInnen, TänzerInnen, Film- und Multimedia-KünstlerInnen aus der ganzen Welt ein, neue ästhetische Wege und visuelle Sprachen des choreografischen Kurzfilms im 60 Sekunden Format zu entwickeln. Es werden Arbeiten gesucht, die sich mit den vielfältigen Möglichkeiten choreografischer Strategien im Film auseinandersetzen.

Eine international besetzte Fachjury wird aus den Einreichungen 5 Gewinner auswählen, die mit Geldpreisen in Höhe von bis zu 2.000,- EUR prämiert werden. Die Filme werden ab Mai 2017 ein Jahr lang in/nach den Werbeblöcken zahlreicher Partnerkinos gezeigt. Sie werden zudem in die parallel zum Wettbewerb produzierte CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES Loop-DVD aufgenommen und europaweit auf verschiedensten Festivals ausgestrahlt. Außerdem werden die 5 im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit mit Das Tanzfest.ch 2017 erneut in das Programm mehrerer Tanzfest-Städte integriert und in Schweizer Kinos gezeigt.

CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES – Call for choreographic films in a 60-second format!

For the 8th time, JOINT ADVENTURES is inviting choreographers, dancers, film and multi-media artists to develop new aesthetic approaches and visual languages for choreography and film in a 60-second format. We are searching for works that operate choreographically with the film medium.

The winners will be selected by an independent jury of experts; the jurors are active in the international film and dance worlds. There are prizes in two categories. Monetary prizes will be awarded in the amount of up to 2.000,- EUR. In addition, prizes will be awarded in the “cinema” category; this includes the presentation of the winning films throughout Germany and Switzerland. As part of the CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES Loop-DVD they will also be screened at different European festivals. Within the cooperation with Das Tanzfest.ch, the winning films will be included in the programs of the cities participating in Das Tanzfest.ch 2017.
